Closing One Chapter, Designing the Next
Growth, gratitude, and the transition into what’s next.
Looking back at the past few months, I’m genuinely grateful for how much I’ve grown.
I recently wrapped up 2 years and 9 months at FM (formerly FM Global), where I worked as a Highly Protected Risk Consultant Engineer. During that time, I split my work between Field Engineering and Plan Review, partnering with clients across Georgia, the Southeast, and even Canada.
What the Work Really Looked Like
I worked with everyone from smaller operations to major Fortune 500 companies, performing on-site risk assessments and advising executive teams on how to keep operations resilient.
At its core, the job wasn’t just technical. It was about helping leaders understand how engineering decisions ripple outward—into downtime, safety, and long-term business continuity.
The Skills That Stuck
That experience sharpened more than my technical judgment. It built a foundation for high-level problem solving:
- Risk Advisory
- Systems Thinking
- Executive Communication
- Project Engineering
- Strategic Innovation
- Business Continuity
A Transition Season
Now, I’m in a transition phase. I’m exploring new opportunities—whether that’s advisory work, project-based roles, or something more permanent across risk consulting, engineering, design, or innovation.
This season has given me space to rethink how I want to build and the kinds of problems I want to solve.
Designing What’s Next
Alongside that transition, I’ve been intentionally leveling up my design and innovation skills through independent projects and experiments. It’s been energizing—blending structured engineering thinking with creativity and product intuition.
Let’s Build Something Together
I’m open to connecting, collaborating, and contributing wherever I can bring real value. If you're building something that aligns with my expertise, I'd love to chat.
